Not understanding this

Okay I am asking why would I have a public record about a court docket of debt that plantiff being midland funding and i never even recieved anything regarding court. This makes me ill for Ive been trying to fix credit and then this pops up.. its a civil judgement and for 2/2010. Can they do this? and what does this mean for me?

Contact the court where the judgment was filed. If you were not served, you can have the judgment set aside for improper service.
Midland is a junk debt buyer..,.they probably purchased an old credit card debt.
