Has anyone heard of MMI as a CA? I have alot of debt, and creditors sometimes call my office. I answer the phones, and just had a "Kelly with MMI" asking for "the owner". When I said, "I'm the office manager, may I be of assistance?", she asked again for the owner. When I said he was not available, so hung up. That call had Collection Agency written all over it! I did try dialing *69 to get the phone number 866-370-8208, but the number was "private".


MMI?that comes up as a consolidation and money management place.not a CA.a private# huh?i do not know what to make of it.

Hi Beth,

Sounds to me like your typical cold calling telemarketer. They don't have callback numbers, as their auto-dialers are outbound only, which is why they can show up as Private.

If you haven't received a debt letter from a CA called MMI, I would just tell them "we don't accept solicitations" and hang up.

I've gotten several calls from 866-370-8208 on my cell, and they don't leave a message. I wonder if it's them? I Googled it, and all people have to say is that when they call back the number, they get a recording saying no one can answer the call now, and the call is disconnected. Interesting!
