I lost my job do to back problems and bipolar disorder,now I have to appear in court because of credit card debt.I live in MO. what can they do.

What happened? Have you got a summons for the credit card debt?
If the creditor wins the lawsuit, he can have your age garnished in Missouri for upto 25% of your disposable income.
What is your current financial condition? IMO you must file a reply to the summons if you haven't done it yet. It would give you the fair chance to explain your situation and avoid severe consequences. Check out the following link to file your response.
