I am sorry to hear about your finance trouble...I too am having money troubles of the worst kind! I am not sure what will happen in court, but I can advise you that you definately need to show up otherwise cashcall will get a defaul judgement...I suspect you should probably have a copy or other proof of all the payments you have made to this company, as well as a copy of the original loan agreement with you. I wish you the best of luck.....

I would try and contact them to see if you can possibly settle this out of court. Worth a shot. Do you know what you can afford to pay?

Try to work out a payment plan with Cash Call. They may withdraw the case from the court if they agree to some arrangement with you. You have to send some money in advance and assure that you have every intention to pay back.

hmmm So i did some research on this cashcall and I think that they are taking advantage of people...After looking at their loans...Did you all realize that on a $5000 loan plus the 75 fee with an IR of 59% and an apr of 59.95% with 84 payments at 254.03 you are paying over 20 grand for a 5 grand loan???
Yeah, it is a ridiculous amount that you pay back to them. Peopl
Yeah, it is a ridiculous amount that you pay back to them. People get desperate and they are real easy to get a loan through.

I was one of those desperate people. I got a loan for $2600 also. I paid the $75 down payment and have since paid over 3700 and the principle has gone down about $100. To pay it completely off, I would have to pay over $8,000. I am doing a debt settlement with one of the credit counseling agencies that contacted me when I signed up on this site. I put them down as one of the creditors. However, I have heard that they are very hard to work with and will fight a settlement. I know they are calling me every hour on the hour.

Yeah I really thought about using them because I am so very desperate for money and really had to just tell myself no way!
Good for you Leah. It will get better.....WITHOUT help from Cash
Good for you Leah. It will get better.....WITHOUT help from CashCall!!! That would just be continuing the cycle of robbing Peter to pay Paul?

Can't you pay them off in a lump sum and reduce the intrest or make bigger payments to them to get rid of them quicker?
How long have you had the loan with them and when did you defaul
How long have you had the loan with them and when did you default? How many payments did you make before you defaulted?

I also have a loan through cash call. They threaten to take me to court after I had not paid them for 4moths. My payment was 216.55 month. Then I finally got a call from one very nice rep. She changed my payment to 127.12 a month and dropped my interest rate. It is still outrageous and some of their people are really rude.
Oh really, how much did your intrest drop? Sounds like the road

I wonder if someone was to call them and tell them that they are having financial hardship if they would lower the interest rate before you got behind? How did you approach them, what did you say to them? how long did you have the loan with them before this happened?
