Served Papers by The Moore Law Group

Hello Everyone,
I was just wondering what I should do. Papers were served to me about about my AMEX account for about $2600. These papers were left for me in the mailbox. Previously I asked for debt validation and they only sent me my last cc statement. I called the Moore Law Group today to ask them if there's anythin I can do to settle things before the court date and they told me that in order to discuss settlement options, I'd need to retract my dispute. I'm just wondering, what do I do and where do I go from here?

You may be able to have the case dismissed for improper service.
You may be able to have the case dismissed for improper service. They're not usually allowed to leave them in a mail box; they have to serve them to you directly.
