Ripoff Report allows for a free and open forum which is good. However when people post false information and it can be proven Ripoff Report charges $2000 plus $150 per month to put a generic positive stamp over all the in some cases false negative posts........People that is extortion!
Open forums
The only drawback to completely open forums is that marauders with ill intent can victimize innocent actors. In this day and age once the false accusations are posted they can inflict massive fiscal damage. Its great to be a "purist" and simply keep all the negative posts however how many innocent parties have to suffer before you admit a problem?
