This is re a work-at-home job, calling their leads to sell them debt negotiation. They don't want money or a lot of personal information from me to come on. They don't charge clients a fee until a settlement has been negotiated and accepted by the client, then it's a percentage of the savings (debt minus settlement). But the only trail I can find is a L.A. BBB complaint from 1995, not enough for a negative rating. The address and co. principal, Mark Berglas are the same now as on the BBB record. Also, their forms are businesslike. Anyone?

I know BHR, I have 3 friends (well, 2 friends and 1 cousin) who used BHR to help them negotiate their debt. I know my friends debts were for a payday loan and cc debt, and I think my cousin's was something dealing with his business, but I can't remember what (possibly a tax debt? I know it was something more owed to the state or feds). So, yeah, they are actually legit. I am pretty sure they have a clean BBB report, but you should check it out yourself. I would recommend always doing a BBB search for any company you deal with, along with a web search to see if you find any conflicting info and personal experience stories (like you are doing here).
