Are you able to negotiate a portion of your debt? Not all?

Welcome to the Community :D I am not real clear about your question. Do you mean negotiate part of your balance and then make payment on the rest?
Alot depends on if it is with the original creditor or a collection agency.
Alot of places want you to negotiate the whole thing. For example, pay a lump sum for the negotiated amount,like 30-50%.
If it is with the OC, try to see if they will work payments out with you, and ask if you qualify for a hardship program..karen
