it is a settlement company. I am in Georgia also and am having a hard time finding a company that can legally work in the state. From what I understand, only attorneys can handle debt settlement in GA.

Correct Kristin. The only debt settlement companies that can operate legally in the state of Georgia is a licensed attorney in that state. New Era debt solutions is not a law firm and thus can not legally do business in Georgia. As a matter of fact I believe the fine for a company doing settlement in that state is 50k if I am not mistaken. New Era Debt Solutions used to be called DTS Financial Group. They changed their name because of all the negative info on them. If you look them up on the BBB you will see they have an F rating.

New Era debt solutions does not do settlement in Georgia as they are compliant with all the current laws.
