Consolidation programs do not require any kind of collateral. Property is asked to be shown when you take some kind of loans. Don't mix up consolidation loan with the consolidation program.

The success of the program lies in continuing the monthly payments set in the plan. If a single payment is missed, the plan gets hurt and the creditors can withdraw most of the benefits that are offered after the consultant negotiates with them.
