Do I Need a Signed Letter for Settlement?

Nordstrom Bank faxed me a letter for settlement - about 50% - but the letter is not signed. Do you think this will stand?

It says they will "consider the above retail account "settled" to our full satisfaction". That is basically what my BOA letter says.
