I just received a call from Northstar, which I have been paying a debt to every month for the past 2 years.

Paula told me last month when they tried to call MY CELL PHONE, that someone called back and said 'wrong number.' Which is totally wrong. I have been paying consistantly for 2 years, why would I all of a sudden tell her 'wrong number?'

She stated I needed to pay today or I would receive a refusal to pay. I dont have the money today, and told her to do whatever she needed to do, but I could set up a payment for Jan 11th. She refused, and told me I would receive a 'refusal to pay.'

Have any of you ever continued payments after this threat? What should I do?

If you've been paying your payment monthly for the past 2 years, why would they have called you? Did you miss a payment? if you've not missed a payment, continue to make your payments as scheduled, if they refuse to take your payment, should this ever go to court, you would have the proof you need.
