I need 2500 to pay off two credit cards and a little extra to cover some extra expenses. my credit score is a 592 and is hurting because of these two bills. I need to close those credit cards out and one bill is just easier to manage. Where can I get this money? loan?

Are you looking for a consolidation loan? It would be tough to get one given your credit score and you will probably have to settle for a secured loan with a cosigner.

Call your creditors and try to negotiate a settlement in case you are approved for a consolidation loan. You would have a better shot at paying less than what is owed.

It will very hard to obtain a consolidation loan with your present credit score. Plus, you can get maximum $5000.

Try to borrow from your friends or family. Take out a loan at zero or low rate.

With a 592 credit score, NOBODY is going to lend them money, let alone at a low or zero rate.

Get a part time job. Nobody is going to give you money.

My suggestion would be a part time, or temporary job. Other possibilities are cutting lawns, cleaning basements, etc. Sell unused and unwanted items at a flea market. Sell clothing, books, videos - anything that is not necessity right now.

You might want to call your creditors and see if you can pay just the interest due temporarily. Let them know you've fallen on hard times and need some breathing room. They probably don't care, but it's worth a phone call.

The other alternative would be to let them default and then hopefully be charged off. But the charge-offs will remain on your credit report for 7 years.

If you could borrow from a family member, you'd still have to pay them back. Better to handle this independently.

sell whatever you can -- ebay is a great source and craigslist as well --

I've sold everything -- cars, boats, household items, cd's movies --
part time job if you can as well -- if you can make $$ you don't have to pay it back --
