Ok I closed my checking account not in time for them to take out $494 but I have enough to live til my next check. I opened a new one. Now what do I do? Will they start calling? I did email one yesterday and told them that payday loans are illegal in MA and have not heard back. Should I send a letter to all of them now? Can they garnish your paychecks??

Here is the loan information:
ameriloan ($300) Paid 270.00
United Cash Loans ($300) Paid 270.00
Second Wallet ($250) Paid 225.00
Apollo ($300) Paid 180.00
Arrowhead ($300) Paid 180.00
9Total Lending ($300) Paid 180.00

If payday loans are illegal in your state, the companies don't have the rights to garnish your wages. They can't take you to the court because they don't have the permission to lend in your state. Otherwise, they will dig a hole for themselves only. Send a revocation letter to their wage assignment through certified mail. You are supposed to pay back the principal only.
