Give a good debt consolidation to work please

Im a little confused as to what your looking for in debt help. are you looking for debt consolidation or debt settlement companies? I myself went through a very good debt settlement company, and from my experience usually when the accounts are settled, alot of times they can negotiate how it is posted on your credit report. after 1 year of the program my credit score was better than it ever was.

I was looking for debt settlement but i don't want "collections" or "settlement" to remain on my report for 7 years and with no companies out there that can negotiate it off i'm now looking into debt consolidation so I know I won't be damaged on my credit reports. I have always asked for a company or attorney that someone knows of who really specializes in this but so far the ones I get can't negotiate anything for me so i'm figuring why pay someone to do nothing. It would be worth any investment if I can find a good debt settlement attorney but I would expect them to negotiate on my behalf in return to paying those fees. I want to lease another car and buy a home in 4 years and don't want this to remain on my reports. I know in consolidation of credit cards i can do these things and my reports won't be damaged.

Now does anyone know of a debt consolidation company that doesn't have any bad marks on them and that won't make my bills late? I need a company that will work with me and stand behind and be informative for me. I need a good one. I'm also located in Houston if there is a local one but I know they pretty much work anywhere.
