Hello everyone. I am so glad i have found you all and I am so glad I am not the only one in debt.
I am trying to repair my credit so I can buy a house. I have a few charge offs that were the result of starting over after divorce. Some of these have been turned over to collection agencies and some have not. Should I try to settle for less and get the pay to delete or should I pay the whole amount in full? Which looks better for the home buying process?

Thanks in advance for you help!!

You may start negotiating with the original lenders since its always better if you can deal with the original lenders directly. Always negotiate for an amount that you can comfortably pay and see if they would agree to delete the account after payment.

Now, for the accounts with the collection agencies, you shouldn't get into any settlement negotiation before you receive proper debt validation from them. Start with sending DV letters and let us now the updates.
