I have 9 outstanding pay day loans, all due at the same time. Can anyone help me consolidate them so that I can pay them all off?

Welcome to the forums :D If you signed up for the free credit counseling, someone will be contacting you soon. There are consolidation companies that handle pay day loans, your counselor can give you those details,as well as figure out what is the best route for you to go.Good Luck!...Karen

Thanks for the encouraging words. I've tried lots of credit repair ads but when they find out I don't have credit card problems there is nothing they can do. Or when they find out what state I'm from, they can't practice in my state.

Have you explained your situation to the lenders? If your offer them some realistic payment plans, they might be interested in working with you if you make the payments regularly. This way, you won't have to look for any consolidation company for assistance if the matter is already taken care off.

If the lenders sound tough, let them know that your consolidation company will be calling them soon and discuss about these accounts. Talk to your lenders first, it might do some help in your way.

No, I haven't tried explaining to the lenders yet. I just woke up the other day after wondering what was happening to my money and realized I was paying over $1000 per month in payday advance fees. I was broke, the kids needed lunch money I didn't have, three cars are sitting on my property that I keep spending money on to have repaired (they still need more), there is no food, the utilities are getting turned off. I didn't get it. Until the other day, the light bulb came on and the first thing I thought to do was to try to get a loan to consolidate all 9 payday loans and just pay one off each payday until I get out of this awful mess. Now of course the reason I had to go to a payday loan company in the first place is because my credit is wack. So getting a loan to consolidate my payday loan is like stepping out on faith for me.
