:confused:I have been served with a civil suit in N.J. when talking to the paralegal named Pierre I told him I'm on unemployment and could only pay $40.00 a month and he laughed at me. This amount has gone up quite a bit, also asked him if they could knock off some of the charges and he said no way. Now they don't answer the phone. What can I do?

They will only knock a portion off if you have the funds to settle the account....they wont knock anything off for payments.
