I received this email from Cashnet/Payday Loan Yes, I had borrowed $350 in October, and so far have paid back $315 in rollovers/extensions. So when I saw this offer I was like sure, I figure I owe them about $45 and the 70% discount brings final total to $13.50. If I'm wrong tell me I am... but this looks right to me...

If Payday Loan Yes is not licensed in your state and because rollovers are illegal in KY, any amount you pay towards this loan has to be added on your principal amount. Don't fall in any of their new settlement offers. They are trying to make more money from you. Take the help of your attorney general and inform the DFI about the pdl place. Send the remaining balance and ask for a "paid in full" letter. This shouldn't be a problem.

Flow you can go to your AG website and download a complaint form. Send them the copy of this e-mail as well. I wouldnt fall for any setytlement offer from MR. Tim. This company is being sued by the state of WV for illegal loans. Best Wishes Kyside38

They made the mistake of calling me at work the other day. I have caller ID on my phone. I wrote the number down and did a reverse search. It showed a land line. Tomorrow I will get the physical address. Despite what they say, Global Payday Loans, Inc., Payday-Loan-Yes and CashNet are NOT licensed in Utah. I found the office a couple of weeks ago and someone by the last name of McPheeters e-mailed me. He must have gotten my e-mail address from the Delaware office because the certified letter I sent to the office here in Utah did not have my email address on it.

Do not send them any funds because you do not know what the settlement amount is right now. This company is difficult to deal with. Do a search for the AG in KY and you might be able to do your complaint online. Look for the consumer protection section on the website. If they are not licensed in Utah, then you will file a complaint there as well.

Mr. Atkins,

I only borrowed $150.00 and was offered the 70% discount but at that time I couldn't afford it because i was going through divorce and has since then filed for bankruptcy. As small as my balance was I would be glad to receive your settlement.

Thank you,

Alicia Stevens-Robinson
