Can someone please help? I called a debt consolodation company and paying $800 a month over a 2 year period is going to help me get out of debt. I can do this, but I am short the $400 a month. This is so depressing. I don't want to file bankruptcy. What can I do? I am behind $17,000

Nelly's right contact this site...also look around...there are other companies that offer plans that are not so steep. You said you could do the 800 but are short 400...what does that mean? It looks to me like you can't do it. Keep checking other solutions you will find one that fits your budget.

Always check out who you may go with, not only with the BBB, but others who have used them through completetion. Be sure and ask about fees, when the creditors start getting paid, and if your creditors work with the companies.
