Well not really but I feel like it! My income has been reduced by 30k this year due to my hubby being unemployed. He will return to work in July. Anyway, I was handling the bills just fine until my overtime got cut out and then Christmas rolled around and it's just been down hill since. I'm trying to re-fi my home right now because that payment is adjusting and going up $120/month. I also have a couple of unsecured debts. One is like $10K the other is arounf $3K. I'm amking the payments on the 3k loan b/c my credit union has it where it comes out of my check when my direct dep comes in. On the other hand the $10K loan is like 4 months behind because the payment is $200 a month and it's just not there. I can hardly keep my house payment & the utilities paid and I just had to let the small credit cards and the $10k loan go. Any help would be appreciated. I'm about to scream!

Welcome to the Community :D I have been where you are and it feels like you are in quicksand and going down fast! But there is hope and help here for you. Like Kash said, pleae take advantage of the free credit counseling to see what options you may have concerning your debt.

We went through this-I had lost my job, hubby took on a second job until I found work, then I took a small part-time job until we got caught up. It took some time and work, but we did it.

Feel free to ask questions and ask for help and support, we are here to guide you through the process of becoming debt free!!..karen
