unable to make debt settlement payment

After making several debt settlement arrangements and paying on them for a couple of months I am no longer able to make the payments. Do to a substantial decrease in income. Will the companies work with you and resettle at a later date. Has anyone had this experience?

You will need to call then and tell the your situation and see what arrangements they are willing to make. Are you with a Debt Management company or just made arrangements directly with your credit card companies?

i would call them before your late i have heard of situations were it makes the settlement void if you become delinquent on a settlement payment. then you owe them the origional balance again. call an find out what they can do for you before you become late
