Hi Everyone,

I was trying to look throughout the forum but I couldn't find the answer. Once you get a letter from the credit card company on settling, what's the best and fastest way to pay them? Should you use your own personal check linked to a bank account? Cashier's check? Or wire the funds over?

Thanks in advance!

do not give them your checking account number!!!!! i beg you! I learned this the hard way before i went with the settlement company. A attorneys office double dipped my checking, they took it out on a thursday and a tuesday. 1300 both times. so of course overdrafting me all over the country, and leaving me broke for 6 weeks till they paid me back. Learn from my mistakes and dont let them bully you into it. send them a check or money order or cashiers check whatever, but dont let them automaticly deduct it from your checking.

besure you get a letter in righting also that the debt is gone forever. Any of the methods of paying are good except allowing them to deduct from your checking
