Christine, cashnet will tell you they cant make payment arrangements but they will definitely cash any payments you send in so keep doing that. They are legal in the states they loan in so they can take you to court if you don't pay them. Just send them what you can-but make sure you don't overdo it. You have to take care of the most important bills first.

I have dealt with CashNetUSA. They will tell you they can't make payment arrangements unless it's 3 payments over the next 3 paychecks. However, if you tell them what your intentions are and are true to your word, they will not take it any further. However, they will call you every few days, and you will have to repeat the same thing you told the last person, that you can only afford $50 a month. It gets to be a nuisance, but at least they're not too pushy. Good luck.

I know they are licensed but PLEASE send in a complaint to the PA Attorney General. They must follow the law and only charge the interest that the state allows. The Attorney General can step in and mediate a solution for you. Thats what they do. KYSIDE38

Do not let important bills like your rent and auto payment become late because unsecured creditors are bugging you for their payments. It is much worse to have your car repoed, get kicked out of an apartment or have your electric shut off than it is to simply get collection calls or even be sued for an unsecured debt. In other words you are better off to pay these guys late or pay them less than the amount due than you are to gamble with your van payment. Paying a car payment 2 months late or later could very well get your car repoed. Also if you send almost any creditor any amount of money they will take it even if the are being an ass on the phone and state that they will not take it.

Cashnet USA is lending under their Nevada license, if I remember correctly. This company is 100% legal, and takes pains to make sure they are following the laws of each state they lend in. As far as PA goes, they are allowed for follow the laws of the state they are licensed in, per the Banking Dept. This is on their website in black and white.

Absolutly pay the important bills first. You don't want to lose your car or house. Take care of what needs to be taken care of, then worry about the rest. Send CashNet what you can, and as said, they will cash it. They can be difficult to set things up with, but if you just send them the MO with the letter each month, it will be fine. They may still call, but just hang up, or tell them when they will get their payment for the month, the amount, and then hang up.

That is just how some of them are, if you get someone nasty, hang up and call back until you get someone that is acting like a human being. Better yet, send them a certified, return reciept requested with your intentions. Send it quickly so that if they do take any action you have something in hand to show your intent to pay. Keep copies of everything. If you send a payment along with this letter, they sign for the letter, they cash the check, they have essentially entered into the agreement of what the letter says. Make sure that you state in the letter that this is my first of ***** payments, due on **** of each month, so that cashing the first payment, constitutes their acceptance of the payment arrangement.

Just send in your payment when you said you would. You will continue to get collection calls from them however, that is my experience and others' experiences with them as well. They will deduct the balance owed from each payment sent in to them, and like the others stated, if you send it, they will cash it and apply it towards your balance.
