Usually, the debt collectors cannot force you to give
out your information regarding your pay stub unless they sue you and get
a judgment against you. However, if they ask for pay stub and you
don’t give it, then they might not start a negotiation (to settle
debt) with you.
In such a situation, you can contact a good lawyer or a reliable debt
settlement company, to help you out.
Contacting an attorney is really not viable option if
someone is in debt.....attorneys cost a lot of money. Debt settlement
companies can be expensive and trash your credit. Learn to settle your
own debt. Prove to them you can and cannot afford by providing a
redacted pay stubb.
