I've been trying to call T&C for a week now but it seems that there's something wrong with their phone. I was able to get through a couple of times but will be put on hold for so long then the line went dead again.
Any advice.
I also called our 800# (8006011579)but was told to wait for a call froma counselor but got no luck.

I have 2 more days before I default on my 13 pdl. I know it's wrong but last night I received a foreclosure notice for my house so I have no any other choice. I have to pay my mortgage first.
Anyone who can give me a serious advise on how to handle this problems. Thanks.

Your info is sent to the consolidation company in your area after registering in this website. It is possible that your request is lined up in the 'Q' with the debt consultant. I hope the counselor gets in touch with you soon.

As erzeke1 said, pay attention to the mortgage first. This is a more important concern for you right now. Talk with the loan companies and work out some arrangements with them. Offer your payment proposals so that they can feel you trying to pay your debts. You should keep them informed about your actions before they decide anything serious against you.

Maryann, Erzekiel is right. Pay the mortgage first. You have to have a place to live. You can work on the loans. This site was definately the right place to come to. There are so many people here that has great knowledge on debt. Good Luck to you. KYSIDE38

Thanks everyone. PDL is a nightmare. Given a chance I won't do it again. It feels like I'm running out of options right now. Left & right collection companies keeps bombarding my work & home phone with messages. House, car pdl. I don't know what else & where else to turn.

I was so ashamed at first about my 5 PDL's but seeing I am not the only one who succumbed hoping for some light at the end of the dark tunnel... only to find yourself 100% worse off than you started out. These things are evil and I have spread the words to everyone I know... no payday loans ever unless you do it locally on a face to face basis, one at a time.

I need to see about making arrangements for my 5 PDLs, is there a place that you can consolidate through or do you have to handle it yourself. My problem is I hate talking to the people at GFSIL and ICS and I have no fax or physical mailing address for them.

Any advice or help someone could give would be so appreciated.

If possible, don't avoid talking to GFSIL and ICS. They are into a lot of violations. If you stand strong being aware of your legal rights and backed by the state laws, you can beat them on their moves that are mostly illegal. You are not bound to pay the illegal charges for sure. You will pay only what you actually owe. Once the company gives you the loan details without any dispute, you are willing to pay them. But that is not happening with them. At this point, you have stronger note. Take the advice from your local aid dealing with such matters. It will be a great help in your situation.

maryann, send a cease and desist letter to the collection agency and force them to stop calling you legally. They are bound to follow this federal law. If you give them room to contact you only through mail, they will notify you about their further actions but not attempt collections. FDCPA laws will guide you how to deal with the debt collectors.
