can a PDL company call you 7 days a week all day and night and harass the person who answers the phone and say your not there by say don't lie to me where is she at and it's only 8pm eastern time and then tell the person who answers that someone will be at the door in a couple hours talking about a sleepless night oooooooooooooooooooohhhhh cassie 40?

Actually, payday loan companies don't have to follow the fdcpa laws. Since they are the original debtor, they can and usually do, harrass the customer. Only if they put the account into a third party collections company, that company must abide by the FDCPA.
Cassie, if you have a loan with these people. I would suggest that you try to work out some sort of repayment plan to at least repay the principal balance and any interest allowable for your state.

Cassie, who is the lender? There are many lenders about whom we talk in this forum. Many are breaking the laws by doing illegal tactics on the peoples' loan accounts. Take their phone call when they look for you and discuss the matter. There is a solution and this problem will get resolved.

You are not bound to get the calls from the lenders 7 days a week and all day and night. This is something you don't want to allow. Put your complaints with your AG and they will investigate on them. You can also send one copy to the FTC and the BBB.
