got served

So I just got served for a debt with chase bank. over $4k I have no idea if its legit. I'm currently unemployed, looking. I'm supposed to answer within 20 days or they will place a judgement. I do want to avoid that but I have NO assets, what can they possibly do? The letter came from Attorny John Vaughn in Phoenix.

actually some states,and counties allow service by mail.check wi

actually some states,and counties allow service by mail.check with your court clerk to make sure this is an actual summons as aubry stated.if so you must respond,but as aubry stated it's just a letter made to look like a summons send this lawyer a DV letter,but check with your court clerk to be sure.
