My accountant/friend of 35 years advised me to invest in a venture with himself and a partner in California. The business DBA was from Nevada and I,m in Michigan. I recieved a promissory note from them and haven't recieved payment 2 years. The FBI and IRS are investagateing this scam. The state of Michigan Attorny issued a cease and discessed (sp?) order against them. There are over 100 victoms and dollar valves up to 70,000,000. How do I find a attorny to help us?
