Quick Claim a Timeshare?

I am presently working out debt settlement with my credit card companies, but could not do that with the timeshare we have. We owe too much on it, and can no longer handle the payments.
Would we be able to Quick Claim the timeshare? And if so, would that be with the company we owe the money to, or the timeshare itself.

Yes, quitclaim can be done on a timeshare property. Who do you want to transfer the property to? A private party or the timeshare company? You may need to speak to the timeshare company before signing the quitclaim papers. Also, make sure that the new owner of the property refinance the mortgage to his/her name and spare you from all liability on it.
