i have not made a credit card payment in close to 3 years.. of course, ive had collections after me and have been receiving settlement offers from multiple agencies.

my question is, is it too late to go into a debt management plan? or should i just settle at this point?

what is my best and most painless option?

You can settle the debt if the offer is really good. You can get rid of debt instantly.

No, it is not too late to go into a debt management plan. Have you checked the SOL period?

Settlement hurts your credit score. Keep that in mind. BUt yes, it is never too late to start repaying debts through a debt management plan.
