After reviewing info on the web, I think that a debt management program would be the most useful to my needs?

It is really tough to recommend any one company as the best one.
It is really tough to recommend any one company as the best one. One thing you can do is go through the Ranking Chart and find names of some companies according to your state. Now cross check their reputation with the BBB.
Make sure whatever credit counseling company you choose to hire
Make sure whatever credit counseling company you choose to hire has a good reputation with the BBB. Also make sure the company is a 501(c) 3 Non profit business and ISO certified. Typically if a company does not have this license and certification , they are unable to receive the benefits such as reduced interest rates, waiving late fees, etc from the creditors for their clients.
