I've heard about other programs like this, and not just for credit cards..For a fee they will go through your credit report and have negative items deleted.
I don't buy it..It seems if this really did work, we'd hear testimonials from people who did it. And, it sure doesn't seem ethical. You can dispute items on your credit report yourself.

Yeah...it does sound too good to be true. My wife and I have over $100,000 in debt due to medical issues (lack of health insurance was a big part of that), and me being laid off for awhile. I am also self-employed now and am responsible for all benefits and taxes. I know that sounds like alot, and it is... but the interest and charges we now have are unreal. I can't even make the minimum payments on some of the cards now, and it is killing me.
The thing that really hurts is that I could afford a fairly good monthly amount if I could consolidate, but don't have the assets to get enough to do so...at least that is what I have been told. I feel like I am trying to do the right thing and take care of my debt, but am getting no help from "those I owe".

Part of the process of registering with this site is you get a call from a counselor. They explain the debt consolidation process to you and can tell you about a couple different consolidation programs who can and will work with you. You definitely could consolidate, and that would clean up your credit.
Please register..You can ask the counselor any questions you have, and go from there. Plus, this place is a terrific place to vent, get advice, and have fun.
