Has anyone heard of a collection agency Revenue enforcemnent agency? 866-583-8204 Thanks

When I Google that number I get 800Notes telling me that this is one of the many scams out there - - were you told you'd be going to jail for not paying a payday loan?

they also use the name pa enforcement. so funny just last week their number was under pa enforcement and now they are revenue enforcement agency. they even have a number for prepaid credit cards and it is the same male voice on all three numbers. these guys are crazy they've been calling and harassing me and my supervisor at work. making outlandish threats. i did report them to bbb and ftc. don't fall into their trick bag. their scum!

I'm getting calls from them and noticed that the person calling from PA enforcement is now from revenue enforcement this week. I left them a message telling them that if they are a real legal agency they must be aware that they need to contact people in writing rather than by cell phone.

I Just received a call from James Moss stating my paperwork was going to be filed with the court in my town, because I made a check in the $947.00 to Bahama Astrology (payday loan) and it bownced back in May 30, 2008. I stated the loan had been paid twice by two different agencies - 1st loan with an agency that went bankrupt and the other by Lighthouse in Florida. I asked to mail me the outstanding debt to my home address, and he said he can not do that. The funny thing is that another agency called me for this same debt today as well, meaning this debt has been sold to two agencies at the same time.

The other funny thing is that he also quoted $947.00

They are a SCAM -- per the FDPCA collection Act they Have to provide you with proof of the debt in writing with the original creditor information and it is a HUGH violation for any legit 3rd party collection agency to threaten you in anyway that is your first clue that it is a scam, you can view theFair Debt Collection Practices Act

www.ftc.gov/os/statutes/fdcpajump.shtm

Also a Legit collection agency knows if they violate they can get sued by the debtor and have to pay them --
SO DO NOT GIVE THESE SCAMMERS A DIME

if possible record the call and turn it into your local police department (fraud Department) and also the FBI -we need to shut these guys down-

BY A prior Collection agency's operations manager

:confused:They use fake name "Hansen law" also. I was foolish enough to give them my card number, and a week later one of them tried to fraudulently use it to bu $200 worth of stuff in a store.
