I just received a letter from RJM about a past bill that I did not have. They have my social security number. That scards me. The man that I talked to had me living where I had never lived. He said he would close out the case. Can they use my ssn for other reasons.

I think you have been a victim of identity theft. RJM acquisitions do often sends letters stating money is owed on accounts which the consumers never had. Ask them to verify the debt. If they cannot, send them a cease and desist letter stating not to contact you for the debt anymore.
