I about got scammed by brennon but found this website the day I signed up with rtc corp that refereed me to brennon, smith and associates. First I paid freedom for today 599.00 to reduce my interest rates. It took two months to get the paper work so I disputed the charge on my credit card and got my money back. Then I decided to go ahead and send the paperwork i finally recieved back to them just to see what would happened. I was referred to RTC corp in which they were the ones that got me signed up with brennon, smith and associates. Before i got started i had to pay them the first payment of my 60 month program at 256.00 a month. SO i authorized a check by phone to pay that amount and was e-mailed the contract by the law firm. Then the law firm tells me they need $49.00 a month as a retainer fee for their services in negotiating interest on my credit cards. I never sent the contract back and put a stop payment on the check by phone. I called Richard Brenner's cell phone number in one of the posts to see if you could get a hold of him. I talked to him today and he had no idea what I was talking about. He said that his law firm doesn't do that and said that American Debt negotiators gets the fee. He was very nice and seemed to try to help me out. He said he was going to call the American DEbt Negotiaitors and get things straightened out and then call me back but haven't heard from him. WHen I would call these companies and tell them their is a lot of negative feedback about brennon, smith and associates they said all those people giving negative feedback were liars, and they probably didn't complete the program. Beware of these three companies and american debt negotiaitors unless someone can help me out and let me know they are legitimate companies.

I hope to see your problems resolved with R A Brennon. If you don't want to use their services, fill up the dispute form and claim for a refund. This company has many negative feedbacks from the customers. I don't have any personal experience with them. I hope you don't get scammed like others who have fallen into similar situation.

i just got a call from freedom for today and i asked them what did BBB say about them and the assoc. said they dnt deal with BBB b/c, BBB will give anyone a good review as long as they have the money to pay for it. that didnt sound right b/c BBB has been around for a long time and freedom for today just came out in 2007. i have looked at all comments and i dnt think ppl should deal with this company.
