I am presently living in Florida. I am also drawing the end of my unemployment benefits. I can't find work here, therefore I am planning to move to South Carolina, to seek work. Before I was laid off from my job, a garnishment was placed on my wages. My question is.....when and if I find work in South Carolina, can they start the garnishment again, since South Carolina seems to be a "no garnishment" state?
If SC is a non garnishment state, how can they start a garnishme
If SC is a non garnishment state, how can they start a garnishment? Only thing that can garnish in a non garnishment state is student loans, child support and taxes.
