Most debt settlement companies will refund any fee's associated with accounts that they were unable to settle. How many accounts total did you have? Did you ask them specifically about their refund policy on these two accounts?

I was able to get a refund on these policies without much hassle. Funny thing is when I finally found out which department to talk to I also complained about not getting my phone calls returned. The next day I finally heard from the person I was trying to get a hold of. He told me he wanted to get me first thing ASAP to discuss a settlement. HMMMM.... I guess you have to complain to get anywhere.
Thanks for the reply.

Do not use CS
They were no help whatsoever. I did everything they asked such as sending in any letters etc. I found out they were not calling my creditors etc. I got a judement against me and am now trying to file bankruptcy. I was able to get CS to refund some of my money.

I paid CS $3600 and they settled one acct that had a balance of about $8500 when I entered the program. At their 15% fee, that's about $1275. I made some calls and wrote some emails, they quickly offered me a little over $500. I wrote them back, refused the offer, and told them I was going to join the class action lawsuit against them, which I intend on doing if they do not accept my offer of an $1800 refund. I'll let you know how it goes.
