SOL letter

I recently received a collections letter regarding a debt which has exceeded the SOL for my state. I sent off a letter reminding them of this, certified/return receipt requested. I tracked the letter and found that they have not picked up the letter although a delivery attempt was made a week ago. What if they ignore the letter? What should I do now?

keep the letter, and all paperwork that was included in the letter.if they try to sue on it.you use the fact that the debt is past SOL as your defense.who is the bottomfeeder?it sounds like one by how they are handling this.
