About SOL

I'd like to know about SOL-related.
I was in California where SOL is 4 years. Now I relocated to New York where SOL is 6 years.
Let's say, the last account activity is in Non. 2003, so, SOL in California expires in Dec. 2007. Yet, before it is expired, I moved to New York.
Does it mean that the collector can go after me until Dec. 2009?
I should have known of it before I relocated.
