2-3 calls a day

I told her that my ex husband used my SS to get the card. He used it and then didn't pay the card. She said she needed my address to mail out some forms, i refused. I have already filed disputes on 3 charges that he made using my SS, I did that through a different company 5-6yrs ago. I do not want them harrassing me via mail as well as by phone.
I am so confused, I have cleaned my credit up. I have remarried, purchased a home, gotten 2 credit cards that stay perfect (one is a capital one!) and i have had the same phone number for 8yrs+. What should i do... and what can they do to me after 10 almost 11yrs.
Frustrated and hopelessly lost,
Samantha

It's likely past SOL anyway but, I would file a police report for identity theft. I would then send that report to all of the credit bureaus disputing any accounts that apply. You should probably also send this CA a cease and desist letter.

Honestly, I dont know if the police report is necessary at this point. Statute of limitations against a theft or fraud charge that could result from the police report has likely already expired too, so the police might not even be willing to take a report on this. However, as you said, it is already off your credit reports, so the only battle you have right now is with the debt collector that is calling you looking for payment.
After almost 11 years, this debt has passed the SOL. You can send this debt collector a certified letter informing them that they are to cease any and all contact with you regarding this matter. Inform them that this debt has already been disputed by you and that it is also well past the applicable statute of limitations. Send it certified mail return receipt requested so you can prove when they get it. That should get them to leave you alone.
