Is the statute from the original contract that was signed at time of purchase , say i bought a 4 wheeler on july 23rd of 2006 and in the great state of ny it is 6 years , this july 23rd of 2012 makes 6 years . And they have all ready sold to a 3rd party .

Sorry...the SOL starts ticking on the date you become deliquent, not when you borrowed the money. When was your last payment??? I am assuming it was recently repo'd and you owe a deficency balance???
