Even after making monthly payments to a settlement company, they are still saying it will take more time to settle my debt? Already 7 months have passed. What should I do? Should I stop making payments? What will happen to the payments I have already made until now? Why is it taking longer to settle my debts?

Have you contacted a reliable settlement company? Don't pay any more until they settle at least one debt. Talk to them. Keep the documents that you paid to the settlement company.
