Paychecktoday.com borrowed $400 paid back $755.00

MTE will use several different names and several different amounts to get their money. Once they find out you stopped one of their debits they will start with different names and amounts. This will not work. You need to close your account. If not they will get in and take it all.It is a highly illegal company .

oz, what state are you in? Is this the only pdl that you have? MTE is pretty ruthless. They will not stop debiting your account. You can't just "block" them (they will use one of their many other names). Also, you can not just "block" ACH debits (they will send through an electronic check). Take it from me. They will stop at nothing. The only thing to stop them is to close the account they have the information on. This is why I am asking the other questions. Do you have any other pdls out and what state do you reside in? We need this information to check your state law to see if everything would be okay to close your account and also see if you have any pdls that might actually be considered legal pdls. :D

Guest, Yes, Paycehck Today is affiliated with MTE. I believe internet loans are prohibited North Carolina. Paycheck Today will not be licensed to do business in your state. You do need to do as everyone has said and close your account. You have also way overpaid and need to keep them from getting anymore of your money.

Oz, here is NC law

North Carolina State Information here http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/paydayloan/explain-pdls-laws.html

I sent you a letter to use with them in a Private message. I have them as well. DO NOT SENT THE LETTER UNTIL YOU CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT. If you send it before you close your account they will debit your account for everything they say you owe. If you have any questions just post....To get your message, you have to be logged in, and you will look at the top 1/2 right side of the page under CHAT...it should say You have 1 new message...click on that and you messages should be listed....click on the message to open it.
