Hi guys I'm new to this so bear with me. I am a 20 year old sophomore in college who, in the past, has accepted 3 credit card offers (all with $1000 limits) in the mail and as a result I am now about $3200 in credit card debt. I'm only working a part-time job that pays $9/hr and I've had to miss credit card payments due to lack of funds so I've gotten some late fees. I'm extremely stressed and anxious because I have the creditors calling me but I'm really not able to make any payments. At this point I'm more concerned with getting RID of this debt than improving my credit score. What should I do?? Should/can I consolidate?

Please help me I'm desperate right now

I see that you are a registered member so you can take advantage of the free consult that this site offers. They will help you figure out your options for your situation.

If you decide to go with a debt consolidation company just make sure that you research them carefully. There are alot of scammers out there that will steal your hard earned money and not feel guilty at all. Good luck.

Hi! yes, you may go in for consolidation because consolidation can really take care of your extras like the late fees which you have incurred and you will have to pay less than what you currently owe. and once you start paying up and have cleared your debts your credit score will also improve automatically. but just wanted to remind you that you will have to pay a fee to the consolidation firm for their services so plan accordingly.
i am sure you will get out of this quickly. do keep us posted. good luck!
