I am being sued for repo ed car. I offered 4,000 of 8,000 owed they said 7,000 is what they would take. Will they come closer to my number when court grows closer?

They possibly could, perhaps the judge will order them to work out a better deal than the $7,000.00 they say they will take. What is the blue book value of the car? Do you know how much they sold the car for? Just make sure you show up at court otherwise they will get a default judgement on the $8,000 plus court costs and interest.
Car repossession
I am being sued for a car repo that occurred in 2006. The balance they are trying to collect from me is $15,721.00. What amount should I try to settle with the attorney.
