I did debt consolidation with them and was told not to speak to creditors during the process. I recently signed limited power of attorney to my creditors so they may contact them. I think I may have made a mistake. Their name came up on ripoffreport.com when I checked. I am wondering if I need to stop automatic deductions and start all over with someone else, or if I can even get any money back at this point?

I heard that the company has many complaints with the BBB and they changed their name from Clear Your Debt I think this company is taking advantage of their customers because it's something you can do yourself not pay, not answer, and wait till the creditor brings down the balance duhhh.....

Nah, these guys are all good. I am not done with the program yet, but have finished almost half of it! I think they are very nice, and Igot ROYALLY screwed by another debt company before (Credit Solutions). But, you gotta make a committment to get the debt behind ya!

I WAS DECEIVED BY SWIFT ROCK FINANCIAL. AFTER ACCEPTING MY APPLICATION 3 MONTHS LATER THEY CANCELED MY ACCOUNT. NO ONE CALLED I WAS DISMISSED BY E-MAIL WITH NO REASON. THEY WERE NOT VERY PROFESSIONAL.

Can I cancel with swiftrock. My debt has elevated from 25,000 to 30,000 due to late fees and interest being raised. Swiftrock does not answer my calls or e-mails. Their client service just let you leave a message. I have been in the program since October. They only deducted 2 payments because I wanted to have the payments adjusted. I talked with accounting and he told me I could always pay more but the process to adjust would be difficult. I said okay. They were to take out payments in January when I talked to them in December. Bill collectors are calling me still and threating to take me to court. I don't have the patience for this. My credit is already destroyed, so I am going to file bankruptcy.

This company is horrible. Informs clients of rainbows and puppy dogs when its really a huge haunted house. They only tell you what you want to hear. Hope its not too late...you should get out while you still can.

How do I know if I can trust them??? IDK how they got my cell phone number in the first place, but they call and call anddo not give up once you have spoken with them. I was willing to give them a try until I saw this forum. I cannot afford to go deeper into debt because of them. A Bankruptcy firm already told me to stop making payments, and when I went to see if I would qualify under the new laws they say I don't... now it has put me 3 mos behind in payments and cranked up my interest rates to nearly 30% each. One thing that Swiftrock tries to tell you is how much your total debt will cost you at that 30% APR... Do Not believe that... as long as you remain current in your payments for 1 year your creditors will reduce your rates for you again... So Swiftrock is telling me it will take 85 years to pay off my debt at the 30% APR, WHICH IS INACCURATE information because it will not be that high a year from now... do what YOUR GUT tells you to do is my advise. There is only two ways out of debt... Pay it off OR Dont use Credit!

Their rating on the BBB was an "F". That is the worst tag you can get with the BBB. Run!!!! Do be careful if you persue any business with the company! They have had 24 complaints to the BBB on Swiftrock in the past 36 months alone.

I had a horrible experience with this so called "Christian company". They called all the time to get me into the program, lied about what would happen, told me my chances of getting sued were slim to none, and now I cant get in touch with client services to cancel or ask about my account. They were still taking payments out of my account but their not doing anything for me. I had to go to my bank and cancel and now I'm dealing with over $7000 in late fees. What a mess!

The truth of the matter for all of you is that these company's CAN and DO work. I'm a former employee and client. Yes, it takes an ENORMOUS amount of patience. And yes, you will get calls and some late fees tacked on, BUT, if you save your money as fast as you possibly can, the creditors will settle for less. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at

i have been working with swiftrock for just a year now, and yea, it hasn't been easy, i have just learned to screen all of my calls, yea i even got calls from collectors even at work, three times in one day, and it is that collector that im not settling for what they want and refuse to pay the interest amount and told that to the swiftrock employee too. they can't release any of your money unless you approve, the first quarter (as they have them divided into) the money goes to all of the fees, ie getting the POA papers and all of your credit infrormation, yea it was a bit difficult at times to get responses from people but, being persistent pays, just send e-mail to clientservices or the trusty fax. i too had my fears but am now glad i have stuck it out and soon my credit score will be much better.

I've been dealing with them since December. I've had a positive experience. I had trouble getting through to one woman who gave me her direct number but I just called Client Services and they said the woman was out all week.
They've been very professional and I've had good customer service. A law firm who says it is working for one of my creditors is harassing me. Anyone dealt with Mann-Bracken?

I have been involved with your firm since December of 08. I would appreciate an update on my account. I have been receiving 6-8 calls a day from creditors and lawyers. Please advise.

Thank you;

Definitely cancel with Swiftrock...I cancelled with them not too long ago. I had the same experienced with them. They don't answer email or calls. All my creditors had took me to court and I have to settle my account out of court. They didn't help me at all in the negotiations. I end up negotiating with my creditors after my debt elevated from 15000 to 25000 total...it was ridiculous. If you look at the raiting in BBB, their score if big "F"

IF I CAN ONLY WRITE UP SOMETHING ONLINE SO PEOPLE CAN SEE IT...NOT TO USE SWIFT ROCK FINANCIAL...WHAT GET ME IS THEY SAID THEIR MOTTO IS BASED ON CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLE...YEAH..MY FOOT !! THAT IS MILD...i COULD SAY MORE.

Wow. They seem to have a lot of complaints on the BBB.
37 complaints for Swiftrock.
That link lists 2 related companies (same principal):
Clear Your Debt, with 149 complaints and Topaz Financial Services with 6 complaints.

If you were ripped off by them, file complaints against them with the BBB, the FTC, the Bureau of Consumer Affairs, your state Attorney General, IAPDA (since they have 25-99 Certified members), etc. etc.

Stay clear of Swift Rock. Me and my spouse paid over $900 a month since December of 2008, started getting calls from real credit card attorneys and decided we had to handle this so we cancelled their service. Swift Rock now claims all the money, I mean almost $8000.00 paid since December is non-refunable. The said all the money we paid just covered their fees. Still haven't figured out what they did to earn that much money since they never paid a dime to the creditors. Got scammed big time, THE PRAY ON PEOPLE WHEN THEY ARE DESPERATELY LOOKING FOR HOPE, BEWARE.........

I signed with Swift Rock one year ago. They have been direct withdrawing from my account. I am now being sued from my creditors because they didn't negotiate even one account. They still tell me to be patient and now I have to hire a lawyer. Stop your direct withdraws by written notification. You can fikle a complaint with the attorney general and BBB. You may get your money back minus the monthly service fee. Good Luck!

People talk about rip off report google the founder. People talk about the bbb but I was a business owner and when I didn't pay them they gave me a bad rating like everybody else.. Please read into your politics if your going to post. BBB is not a government agency neither is rip off report. For all those other people who paid into a program for two months and didn't get completely out of the debt that took you 10 years to acrue. " pay more money to creditors, keep it up, we need more people to get ripped off by credit card companies so they don't take our taxes next year"..

My wifw signed up with swift rock in december of 2008. We couldn't continue to make the high payments because our work cut hours so we had no choice but to cancel their service and now swift rock will not refund a single dollar of the 8000.00 we paid. They claim all the money went to their fees. They have done nothing to earn that amount of money and they won't even return a single phone call. This was the biggest scam I have ever seen. They prey on your disparity to find relief. BEWARE OF THIS SERVICE

try credit solutions.... they are the largest debt settlement company in US.... they worked wonders for me.... they reduced my debt by more the 50% call them for a free consult 800-XXX-XXXX ... I was helped by a young man named XXXX XXXXX... g

Solicitation removed ---mobile

I would also like to mention that credit solutions happens to have the worst reputation in the debt settlement industry and currently has a class action lawsuit against it from the law firm Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro. They also have the attorney generals from New York , Texas , Missouri , and Idaho Department of Finance after them.

If you understand the settlement process you can easily see the complaints here are from a lack of understanding only. Settlement works - extra fees and interest while you are in the settlement process are typically not considered during the arbitration process. Yes you can settle on your own however most clients or potential clients do not have the immediate funds for settlement. Yes litigation can occur however settlements can and are reached before anyone steps into a court room for most. Patience and commitment are needed. If you are not committed you will not be successful. The 41 complaints listed on the BBB for Swiftrock shows anyone who cares to continue reading, only 1 of the 40 complaints is unresolved and only because the complaintant can not be reached. 41 complaints out of thousands of clients is really a great record. The F rating comes from the lack of paying into the BBB and it also clearly tells you part of the rating is due to the "industry" which is fairly new. All in all if you are reading and truly absorbing what is written in these pages, at least for me, clearly Swiftrock Financial has a great record and is committed to its clients.

Concerning 8K paid (see above) the debt load would have to be over 50K, which obviously this amount of debt did not build over night nor should anyone think this amount of debt would disappear overnight. The contract clearly tells you how the payments will be applied. If you stay committed and don't lose your patience the settlement process will begin ONCE you have accrued enough funds to settle . . . Truly if your debt is over 50K you are looking at saving $20K to be able to settle at .40 cents on the dollar and depending upon the balances entered into the program the settlements will take longer when the balances are higher. Make sense? If this client had stayed the course the story and outcome would have been different.

Stay CLEAR of this company. I am ending up paying many many times more what I originally owed, due to their inability to cut deals with any of my creditors. A year later, I'm so much worse off that I was when I started. Not only that, they told me they were paying $200/month one one creditor, and I just found out that they have NOT been making the payments. Swiftrock Financial is a scam and I am looking to file a class action suit against them for false misleading advertising.

if they charge the fees upfront dont trust them!!!!!!!!!!

people need to realize that upfront fees give them no reason to settle your debt. they already have your money and they most likely dont care about your outcome.

Three calls within 10 minutes frmo them. First call was violating my privacy by telling everyone how I answered. Second call ended with a threat of continued harassment AFTER I told them not to call any more. Third call was the supervisor apologizing to me and telling me the rep was on his way out the door.

The program works you just need to ask yourself how serious you are about getting out of debt. You got yourself into this mess so if anyone out there thinks they can get themselves out then go ahead and try. Just so you know they have bulldaogs on the other end of that line at the creditors offices ready and waiting to make you feel scared and threaten everything to get you to pay. This works. It just does and as far as changing their name its for legal purposes not a cover up. If you totally enjoy paying like 800-1000 a month to credit card companies that have already gotten their money back then by all means keep feeding the monster. Smart move, but if you can admit that it has to stop then thats the first step.

I've been a client of Swiftrock since January 2009. Since then, I have Settled 3 accounts; including 1 that had been brought to litigation. After receiving the Summons, and making a general denial....the law firm continued their pursuit and actually made a court date..........I called Swiftrock and within the week, my representative had a Settlement agreement with that firm for about 40% of what I actually owed my creditor. I have had positive results so far, but it does take persistence

:mad:I delt with them. I requested the money they still had of mine back and there are still 3 large creditors out there they have yet to settle with. Client reps were constantly changing and there were 3 "offers" that never happened because the deal was "only for one day" and they never got back to me or gave me enough time to respond. Also FYI any debt a creditor writes off needs to be included on your income tax. So the savings isn't actually that much after you add in thier fees.
