being sued from Zwicker and Associates

I settled this dept with another dept collector and now Zwicker and Associates is trying to also collect on this dept I owed little over 1600 I settled for $850 I had a date pick out but had to change it but made the payment and now they think I still owe two payment of $850 what can I do :(
Do you have written proof that you in fact settled the account?
Do you have written proof that you in fact settled the account? A settlement letter? That with a copy of how you paid check proof. However if you changed the date of your payment or if it was late, the settlement could have been voided.
