I want to make offer to my credit card companies to reduce my debt, reduce the interest, and get a forbearance of several months before starting to pay them back. I am planning to stop paying then and writing letters telling them that i will begin paying those who work with me.
I just lost my job. Even before that, I reached the point where I owed more a month than i earned.
Is this the right approach?
