I am making a payment every month. Not what they want but the same every month. They keep calling my place of employment after I have told them not to. This morning they just called and said they would be contacting my employer. Is this legal?

What kind of debt is this? Credit card, payday loan? Is it a collection agency? If it's a payday loan, who is the lender, what did you borrow and how much have you paid. Also, what state do you reside in?
